Your Guide to Summer Festivals in Jackson Hole

The snow is retreating and the wildflowers are starting to bloom! With summer quickly approaching, travelers are making plans to take advantage of the outdoors adventures, al fresco dining, and fantastic festivals in Jackson Hole. The event calendar is starting to heat up! Here's a sneak peek at some of the summer festivals and events in Jackson Hole that you won't want to miss.

Plein Air Fest (June 15, 2024): During this unique art event, nearly 50 invited artists are given one day to create new masterpieces en plein air (outside). Visitors are welcome to watch the painters, browse the art, and purchase pieces. All proceeds will benefit the National Museum of Wildlife Art and participating artists. 

Jackson Hole Food & Wine Summer Festival (June 20-22, 2024): This premier foodie event will feature acclaimed local and visiting chefs, beloved restaurants, award-winning sommeliers, wine and spirits experts, and regional artisans. You'll love getting to sample all of the yummy food while taking in the gorgeous Wyoming scenery. 

63rd Annual Grand Teton Music Festival (June 27 - August 17, 2024): This iconic music festival brings eight weeks of musical performances to the Jackson Hole area. The 2024 season features eclectic orchestral and chamber music performances, Gateway series concerts, special events, outdoor concerts, the continuation of GTMF’s opera initiative and free community events.

4th of July Celebration (July 4, 2024): The Jackson Hole Independence Day celebration is centered around patriotic events like the 4th of July Parade. Fuel up before the parade by grabbing breakfast on Deloney Street. Eat and chat while enjoying live music! Then, catch the legendary parade. Afterwards, check out the Patriotic Pops performance by the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra and sing along to your Independence Day favorites.

Concerts on the Commons (Select dates July 3 - August 18, 2024): Throughout the summer, this music series will offer outstanding concerts by national artists, right in the heart of Teton Village. There will be seven concerts this year - and each will be free to attend! This year's performers are Yachtly Crew, The Nth Power, The Patti Fiasco, Jeff Crosby Band, Young Dubliners, The Lil Smokies, Dustbowl Revival, Doom Flamingo, and Wailing Souls. 

17th Annual Tin Cup Challenge (July 20, 2024): This event pays tribute to Teton Valley’s hard-working nonprofits and our community’s generous annual giving with both a Competitive 10K/5K and a Fun Run/Walk! Afterward, participants can tour nonprofit booths with information and family-friendly activities while enjoying complimentary snacks and beverages. 

68th Annual Teton County Fair (July 20-28, 2024): This fun fair is Teton County's signature western and agricultural heritage event. It includes various Horse Show competitions, Frazier Shows Carnival, 4-H livestock shows and sale, All Aboard Train, Freckle Farm Petting Zoo, Fair Rodeo, Figure 8 Races, the Blue Ribbon Exhibit Hall, Extreme Medieval Jousting, and a Fair Concert, along with other events. 

Jackson Hole's Under the Tetons Car Show (September 14, 2024): Spring Creek Ranch is hosting their annual car show this September. Come check out the awesome array of cars along with the food, drink, and car-related vendors. Proceeds benefit the Community Safety Network.
