The start of ski season is less than two weeks away. Snowmaking has been running full throttle in preparation for opening day. The resorts are ready to receive skiers! Mother Nature has chipped in to make the slopes even sweeter. The end of October brought fantastic snowfall to Jackson Hole.
This week, Wyoming saw massive amounts of snow in the mountains! Now, snow is starting to pile up at the resort. In the recent snow storm, more than a foot of fresh snow fell on Jackson Hole! With the recent cold weather, this snow isn't going away anytime soon.
Ski season has been slow to start this year because of abnormally dry, warm weather. Many resorts that typically open in the middle of the month were forced to postpone opening. Jackson Hole is currently set to open on November 25th. The Tetons desperately needed this snow!
