The grins, smiles, hoots and hollers were heard on Teewinot Chair lift and throughout the mountain as the first turns of the season were made. Winter 2019/20 has now officially kicked off at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The best part about opening weekend is the fresh snow that fell on the mountain. Over 9 inches of snow came for opening day with more throughout the weekend.
The excitement at the resort was felt from all over the town and mountain. There was eager anticipation for loading chairlifts and riding the fresh powder. Friendly staff members and lift operators greeted everyone with that western hospitality welcoming everyone to the slopes. Big thanks to all of the staff, groomers and Ski Patrol who helped to get the mountain ready for opening day and the season ahead.
